Ever check out The Jezabels before? They're simply a symphony of swelling sound that makes you wanna shake your body along and hold someone at the same time. This interpretation could be wrong, but that's what they do for us, and by us I mean me (Type A). A couple of us saw them this week at the Bowery. They had some GREAT opening acts, too. It's always good when the whole set rocks. And they quite literally did, so follow along for some snippets of the evening, wish you coulda been there :) . <3.

Trashcan!!!
Matthew wailing "Money saveees"
yummmy we ate this after the show at S'mac. yummmm. cheeeze.
Happy Greek Independence Day! (yeah, that's not the point of this entry at all, but Type A is Greek. luls)
Wellll anyway, the Buzz was filled with friends and fun, preaching practice and impromptu dance parties tonight. Victoria stepped in for our sick Lady of the Lake (feel better!!) and the David Rind Experience hated on mostly everything. Our friend Molly came by for an in-studio hang as well!! In other words: it was a rowdy time :). Sure hope you enjoyed all of our new tunes-- some were pretty different, so check them out (see below) !
We also played an interview with Josiah Johnson of The Head and the Heart from their show last week, taken during sound checks at Terminal 5. If you were streaming over the interwebs, things may have gotten a little fuzzy, so here's a listen for ya!
IF you indie-listeners/readers didn't realize it already: the buzz kids love love The Head and the Heart. A few of us headed down to Terminal 5 last week to check out their show with Drew Grow and the Pastors Wives and Black Girls. To put it bluntly: GAHHQDSJKLGJREIGL YESSSSSSS.
ALL these bands were absolutely fantastic and they brought TWO, not one, but TWO dance parties/artist collaborations to the stage. The energy was great and the time was quite well spent- thank you bringers of good music. Scroll down for some highlights!!
Black Girls - groovy, soulful and really unique!
Group jam!
Drew Grow and the Pastors Wives- pounding, cutting energy. reallly sweet.
YEE! The Head and the Heart!
Slightly fuzzy, but still wonderful, video of "Ghosts"
"This is why you go on tour with your friends" :) fun fun fun!
The Campus Buzz got
very multi-cultural today! In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, we opened with
Rox in the Box which has always sounded so very Irish to us. Sprinkled
throughout the playlist, we had songs in Icelandic, French, and a
French/Russian mix from Regina, so hopefully you enjoyed that blend of European
languages.
We all missed Type A today, who was off having an amazing time at The Head and The Heart concert.
Next week’s show will be very exciting as we air her interview with the band,
so be sure to tune in!
OH ALSO, A-List finally changed her name to Type A realizing she'll never be an A-list anything but is most definitely Type A with everything. O_O. lawls.
